Mingle Bah Myanmar

Mingle Bah which means "hello" in Burmese. Today we got to see the country as we flew into the upper part of the highlands of Myanmar. It was less about enlightenment today and more about exploring the countryside of small towns and getting to Lake Inle, the largest lake in Myanmar.

We flew into tiny HeHo airport and bused to a cave with 8,000 Buddha statues to in it and then off to Lake Inle with many small fishing villages and many boats zipping around the lake between villages.

Today more touring of farming islands around the lake that farmers create and actually float on the lake. More about this later, but it seems like they create some sort of floating natural plants and add soil on top that they then grow crops on.

I'm finally feeling that I'm here after some long days and lack of sleep. It's much cooler here and I got about 6 hours last night.
